The thirty-third degree, Sovereign Grand Inspector General, is an honorary degree conferred only by the Supreme Council.\u00a0 It cannot be applied for, it cannot be campaigned for.\u00a0 It is awarded on the basis of great service to the public, or great service to the fraternity.\u00a0 The degree is conferred at the Annual Session of the Supreme Council, and its recipients are considered honorary members of the Supreme Council.<\/p>\n
