The Valley of Hartford hosts an annual 5K run\/walk with proceeds going to benefit the Children\u2019s Dyslexia Center of Connecticut.<\/p>\n
The course is a challenging, hilly course, but the official attendance of runners and walkers averages over 100.<\/p>\n
This next 5K is on Saturday, July 27, 2019. \u00a0 Race start is 9 a.m. Helpers are needed and should arrive between 6:30 a.m. and 8:00 a.m.\u00a0\u00a0 Tasks include set-up help, course workers (to hand out water and keep runners and walkers on course).<\/p>\n
Things usually wrap up between 10:30 a.m. and noon.<\/p>\n
