The Valley of Hartford hosts an annual 5K run/walk with proceeds going to benefit the Children’s Dyslexia Center of Connecticut.

The course is a challenging, hilly course, but the official attendance of runners and walkers averages over 100.

This next 5K is on Saturday, July 27, 2019.   Race start is 9 a.m. Helpers are needed and should arrive between 6:30 a.m. and 8:00 a.m.   Tasks include set-up help, course workers (to hand out water and keep runners and walkers on course).

Things usually wrap up between 10:30 a.m. and noon.
